The team here at My Irish Cousin have been working hard behind the scenes to bring our
latest and most exciting project to you, our wonderful cousins around the Globe!

As Ireland’s friendliest car rental service, we have committed to planting one native Irish tree
on behalf of every customer who rents a car from My Irish Cousin in 2023!

These trees will help offset carbon emissions while you enjoy your Irish road trip.

In conjunction with Cloudforest, the saplings (oak, alder and roan) will be planted on the beautiful Wild Atlantic Way, in Co. Kerry.

The site, sourced by Cloudforest, is located on the famous Dingle Peninsula, with uninterrupted views of the Atlantic Sea. Visitors can make a trip to experience the newly planted forest for themselves, and for those overseas, Cloudforest will provide live webcam footage of the area, allowing you to see the woodland expand.

Our long term goal here at My Irish Cousin, is to help restore and protect the natural beauty of Ireland, while still providing a top-notch car rental service to our cousins.

We caught up with Cousin Malachy to hear what he had to say:

“The team has been working on this project for quite a while now. A special thanks to Bernard from Cloudforest for all his help in bringing this idea to fruition, his passion and drive is infectious and my Irish Cousin is delighted to be on board!

By promising to gift each customer their own tree with their car rental, we’re not only doing our part for the environment, but we are also giving a great memento which our customers can cherish forever; their very own little piece of Ireland!”.

Our commitment to environmental conservation aren’t the only factors setting us apart from the rental car market here on the Emerald Isle! Our welcoming team pride ourselves on our friendly, helpful service, offering complete peace of mind with no hidden surprises.

Sustainability and convenient car rentals – it’s a win-win!
